False Sense of Independence…
Along with many other of my friends growing up, I learned what is known as a false sense of independence.
When we look up independent in the dictionary, it reads “To be free from outside control; not depending on another's authority. To not depend on another for livelihood or subsistence but rather be self-supporting or self- sufficient.”
Now, most would know that a true independent person can be able to do most things for themselves, but know how to live healthy, balanced lives… meaning, that they fully embrace we all need each other from time to time to balance things out and offer assistance as needed. Example, when on a job site, one person cannot always be expected to lift an extremely heavy piece of equipment, furniture, or object… that it may take two or more people to maneuver where it needs to go. Or that while it is fun to explore some things in life on our own, there are times where it is equally pleasing to share experiences in life with others. Additionally, we can learn many things as we go about our lives, yet we tend to learn more in observation of others or hearing of their life stories in which to help us find our own personal truths.
Thus, A truly free and independent person knows they are safe in letting their guard down, that they can be truly free to be exactly who and what they desire to be and not care if others support them or not; for they know that their life is their own and no one else can live this life for them. That they can share their emotions and know it is safe to do so. They know how to hold friendships in their lives without taking unhealthy stances to rely upon them heavily in order to feel needed, loved, safe, supported, or matter. Nor do they hold their friendships in arms length in fear of getting hurt, mistrusted, misunderstood, or taken advantage of. They know how to be a friend and receive friends openly.
Yet, a person who is in a “false sense of independence,” often tends to creep in when they are raised to learn to be “independent” at a young age. Some may come from a one-parent home where while the parent works, the child tends to the chores and responsibilities around the home, even taking care of their siblings. Or they come from a broken home where the parent(s) are more regularly under the influence of various substances and/or are abusive in nature. It is in this stage children learn how to hold their own or take care of themselves… no matter what they taught themselves was needed is deemed right or wrong, good, or bad… rather, it is all about figuring out how to survive and be safe.
By the time the child becomes a teenager, others tend to view these teens of having to grow up quickly. That they are now a bit ahead of the curve in life, because while most teens are more focused on having fun, joining extracurricular activities, hanging out with friends and being a typical teen…. These other teens already know how to fend for themselves, tend to child rearing, and support themselves in the absence of a parent.
So, while these teens now become an adult, they are usually seen as being very sufficient when heading out in the world on their own. Yet, many tend to lack the social graces and much needed nurturing often required in their tender years. These now adults fully believe they need no one and can do well all on their own. That they can figure things out for themselves and do not need to rely on external sources to get them by in life.
Sadly, many of such souls as these tend to see themselves as being healthily “independent”. And such “independent” souls do not feel the need to get close to others in any form of relationships. In fact, for some… they very much enjoy keeping distance and being by themselves. This does not mean such souls do not believe in having friendships, but rather they keep them at a safe distance, as to not get too close or vulnerable.
As such, these souls are often found to be disinterested in pursuing long-term commitments, as they do not wish to lose their independence and desire to be free as they please and not be told how, when, or where they need to be or what they need to do or how to do them… yet, there is still a part of them that does enjoy some closeness and intimacy… as long as, it doesn’t make them become “dependent” or “reliant” on another or for another to become reliant upon them.
To be afraid of losing one’s independence within any form of relationships ironically has little or nothing to do about true freedom to live, feel, be. Or express. Rather it is a fear of getting close to someone and a need to protect the distance they hold sacred which had kept them safe all these years… especially when they were raised to have to fully rely and depend on themselves.
In some respects, they very strongly need to be free to do what ever it is they aspire to do and be; yet, additionally, they do not wish to allow themselves to become too close only to find themselves in similar situations of their past leaving them to feel the need to protect themselves once again from further harm, disappointments, loss, abandonment, etc.
Thus, when such souls as these sees any glimpse within a person or situation that could lead them to believe the threat is very real in their life once more by the person or situation, they have come to trust… letting their guard down, the triggers of their past causes them to impulsively leave the relationship/situation and should they desire to return to that experience… they may never fully allow their guard to be let down again.
Thus, for such cases as these, it was never about a fear of losing one’s independence over one’s identity, space needed to grow and be, nor of our wills as once perceived or believed to be. Rather, it is about having to allow ourselves to become vulnerable or to feel safe in connecting with others and know it is safe to trust and work together, that none of us are ever meant to truly go this life alone.
The only way to heal the fears of losing one’s independence, is to see what that independence truly means to each of us and why we perceive threats to our existence. It is from here and from that place of such honesty we can then do the work or seek counsel to help us heal so we know how to truly be independent in the most healthy and balanced sense.

Article written by Melissa Wasik: True Independence…
We are only truly free and independent when we are willing to protect and own our inherent rights to be at all times. Never fearing we will be “outshined,” “too late,” or that what we have to offer is “too small.”
We do not need to protect those rights of ours out of fear of losses or of being harmed, but rather protect these rights through grace, love, mutual respect of self and of others which you freely give and offer without expectations or conditions.
You do all you do and be all you can be because you innately know this is who and what you are meant to be and that through the grace of All That Is will support you in every endeavor to get you there safely; that no matter what others attempt to do to diminish your light, you are far more powerful and worthy than those attempts made upon you. That this is your birthright to share all that you are with the world, no matter if they agree with you, understand you, support you or not. No matter if you are considered or perceived “right or wrong,” for you know you are allowed to grow and learn from your experiences just like everyone else and are doing the best you can with what you know and have learned in each and every moment and stage of your existence. That perfection is not required here… only patience, tenacity, and belief in yourself and in your purposes in life to keep trying no matter how long or how hard it appears to take. For this is true independence.
The only way we begin to “lose”” our independence though temporary, as it can never truly be “lost,” is when we allow others to determine who we are, when we are allowed to show those multiple and various sides of self. When we do not allow ourselves the right to choose what is right or works best for ourselves. When we choose to surrender our rights to grow and evolve in our ways of doing thinking or being… all to appease others, align with others or to fit in or feel safe in the presents of others.
When we honor our true independence, the most aligned and cherished people, places, resources, opportunities, and experiences align. In this, we can never go “wrong.” For anyone or anything that threatens that existence and rights to be are not truly aligned or are feeling threatened that you have accomplish this before they have had the ability to figure out how to do so for themselves and fear being left behind… or coming in “last place.”
This is not a race nor a means to determine who is greater or better than, for we are all one in the same with every right to be, do, think, act, and react as we feel aligned for our greater purposes in growth, learning and evolving. To this, we are all at various stages of our evolutionary process. While one succeeds in one area, another will succeed in the next. All of which is to be commended and celebrated, for it shows us all as a precious reminder and cheering section… no matter what various and vast obstacles or barriers in life are conjured up for us along the way, no matter the stages of life we are in; we all have the abilities and capabilities to learn from and grow from… to rise above such perceived and said obstacles/barriers and be victorious.

This thought to ponder comes from a passage in my book written by our beloved Archangels, Michael and Haniel... " When we do not allow ourselves to be open and vulnerable to all of who we are, feel, sense, know and can be... we automatically shut down our ability to create from truest heart and intent of all we can and desire to have and/or be. Thus, trust in ourselves, Source and life becomes "lost" or "lacking" because we begin to falsely perceive what is not possible or available when we don't fully realize how damaging this lack of being open and vulnerable sets us back."

Instead of controlling your mind, work with it, nurture, love and support its needs of understanding so it may to follow the wills of the heart.

Many are learning that to be alone is safe, but is it really?
As more are aligning and becoming in tuned with one’s innate inner knowing and self, we will continue to find it more imperative to make that time to be alone in the stillness and quite of which to align and further connect in order to get the true sense of knowing, the true sense of what is really going on around you.
Yet, we see this message of "Being alone is safe" has been mixed in its meaning and purpose, Beloved Ones. While it is good to celebrate our abilities, to be comforted in our own sacred space of which for years many were afraid to tread and to set healthy, realistic boundaries that make sense, this particular declaration also suggests to Universe that you do not trust others or Source, you have been hurt and are leery of allowing the trust of Source/the Higher Powers that be to know what is truly best for you, aligning you with those who are meant to help us heal and further align in such roles they came to play for us.
This is not to say we are to just allow any energies in, yet Beloved One, if we were able to see behind such walls placed and see the higher purpose for those having been aligned with you, the fears would subside, and the walls placed here would then come down.
What are YOU doing to call forth such experiences you fear or are doing your best to repel? If you sense you are only in control when you are alone, then you are not truly at onement with self, others or Source. For to stay in one’s comfort zone suggests one is not truly living but existing at best. It is when we dare to live outside our comfort zones and dare to pursue our dreams, life begins so we can truly grow and become ever stronger in who we desire in our innate self without fears, hesitations or self-doubt. When we remain in our comfort zones there is no contrasts in which to build upon and grow. We then become stagnant... unable to truly move forward. To be truly protect and be in such knowing of protection you seek, is to be able to go out into the world and let the world come to you, knowing that no matter what life hands you, you are always and will remain safe within it, protected and provided.
No, Beloved ones, be not afraid to see the truths of each existence. For it is in such times of new experiences or perhaps too the adversities we face, not only learn the life lessons we came here to experience, but then be in the position to help teach others to live in love and light, not protection out of fear.

Questions have been asked by dear friends, clients and the public in general... "How do we overcome all of this devastation?" How can we change this around and make this better?" "Can it ever get better?"
This is what I had shared thanks to my lessons learned from which was gained by way of our Archangels and Masters.... Love and peace is our answers to most of life's difficulties faced and when we are having difficulty achieving this for ourselves... prayer is our powerful ally. We may find too... that even for a short time, it may require isolating from those who are negative or argumentative in our lives, as they are living largely out of fear or are simply not quite ready to ascend to such newer understandings. This by no means makes anyone wrong or less than but that we are all simply finding our way and learning at varied rates. No one can be expected to achieve what they have yet to learn and understand. we can not achieve what we cannot believe. Beloveds, our thoughts and perceptions play key roles into our actions and how we choose to proceed in life. If we continue to focus upon all the negative or what we don't want in our life VS. positivity or gratitude for what we have in front of us of which is good and valued... then we will continue, by law of attraction, to align with life's negativity or have it mirrored back at us. Furthermore, our perceptions are solely based on human experiences. Therefore, we then have limited views as to what actually is happening around us which makes us unable to see the true Ethereal high-in-sight as to why things are occurring around us and for us... ironically... out of love and our best interests to grow, learn and rise above. That is why we are repeatedly told "Follow your heart for the heart never lies." For the heart knows what the eyes cannot see and the mind does not yet understand. Yet, how can we achieve such success as these if we are not given contrasts and obstacles to help us see that in fact, innately by nature and design, we are actually far more powerful and larger than any given obstacle or life experience handed our way. In essence, we can be the victor in our lives VS. the role of victim... yet, it is by our own personal choices and by life lessons given that we are able to truly be able to understand this and grow ever higher vibrationally. As we go on in this life... more challenges will come our way. Yet, if we learn now through such experiences as these and take the time to clear away our angst of the past of hurts, fears and triggers... the easier it is to overcome and be a part of the ascension of the next dimension that is forthcoming. Namaste and much love!

Guides in which to live by…
- Be yourself. No one was created by design as perfect. For in everyone of us there is imperfections yet it is balanced as those imperfections are exactly what is needed for us to learn and grow. We are also balanced with the gifts and abilities no other has to offer… a uniqueness all our own to share with others and to enjoy in ourselves. “Your self-worth is determined by you. You are not dependent upon someone telling you who you are.” Beyoncé
- Love. Love is the most powerful vibration there is. As such, Love is the essence within all creation, including ourselves, of which we are made. The power of love can literally change the world and each one of us can accomplish anything with it; for it is flexible, endless, timeless. It has been said throughout the ages… Love is the fuel of dreams, Love can help us see things more clearly, Love is meant to renew, Love can drive out hate, Love heals all wounds, Love conquers all, Love is the answer when you apply it with all you do, and couldn’t be truer! “To the world you may be one person, but to one person you are the world” Dr. Seuss.
- Trust. Love and trust are essentially one in the same. As it was written, all it takes is faith of a mustard seed and to follow what is in your heart. For what lies within the heart is the answers the eyes cannot see and the mind does not understand. Lao Tzu also quoted… he who does not trust enough, will not be trusted. This does not mean to go forward blindly in life, but rather to “Allow faith to open doors that fear only shuts” Melissa Wasik.
- Let Go. Anything you can’t control is teaching you how to let go. Letting go doesn’t mean you no longer caring about someone or something, rather it is realizing the only person you have control over is yourself. Some people believe hanging on takes great strength, courage and conviction. Yet, it is more so when you know it is time to let go and trust yourself to do it. All of life’s creation is not placed here for us to cling or hang on to. For no one person or thing is meant to act as your security in life… rather, all of that resides within you. All the rest is merely here to help you learn more and find your way back to the essence of you… the essence of your creator. “Sometimes letting go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.” Eckhart Tolle.
- Dream Big. Dare to dream and dream big! For nothing can be accomplished unless we had the thought and the imagination to dream of it first. Without dreaming big, we are unable to reach our highest and fullest potentials. How else can we know for certain of who we truly are unless we go for our heart’s desires and give it every effort and chance to flourish? “Shoot for the moon and if you miss, you’ll be among the stars.” Les Brown
- Be Playful. Don’t take life so seriously that you forget to enjoy this life becoming so ridged and setting in stone what you perceive needs to be in order to be successful, loved, accepted, etc. Explore your world fully...experiment and try new things. Let each day be new to you, feeling safe within it. Embrace change as this is where life truly is… outside of the box and comfort zones. Don’t conform to others expectations of you or even that of yourself as this too becomes too limiting in your rights to be at any given moment. “We don’t stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing.” George Bernard Shaw.
- Never stop trying. When we follow our truest hearts desires and not the wills of the mind, miracles can happen every day and when we least expect them. Sadly, all too many give up on their dreams, goals and aspirations just shy of accomplishing them… if only they kept going. “You only fail when you stop trying.” Albert Einstein

How do we see you?
Lately, it seems many are asking what others think of them or how they are seen by others. In this I need to ask, why? We are all blessed with innate abilities to know and see ourselves. To be guided toward safety and what works best for each of us as individuals.
Yet, many of us over the years have learned to place great importance on our outward circumstances and views of other to help define us or give us guidance or purpose. Beloveds, it matters not what we have to say or think about you. What is important is how you see and feel in self. To embrace all the wonder that is you and the qualities associated with them. To acknowledge your shortcomings as glorious lessons in which to grow and prosper… not punishment yourself or place harsh labelings over them. To embrace our imperfections and see them as art in our means to learn and become the best versions of ourselves which are beginning to emerge and unfold in the most profound ways. To see yourself as enough in this moment just as Source/Father Creator sees and embraces you.
Yet, if you should find you are not at peace with self, the question of "How do you see me?", should be replaced with asking yourself what can I do about it? Do not be afraid to reach out to those in your community who can holistically help you with such services so you can start living your fullest potential as you richly deserve.
Be in peace in this knowing and realize we are all on a journey of self-discovery and evolution to a greater understanding…taking it each day one step at a time.

We already are the things we claim we are not!
Through my discoveries and working with clients my own healings and observances of others, I came to an epiphany. Many of us often dream, wish, strive to be the things we perceive we are not… Whether it is happiness, courageous, strong, lovable, etc. Yet, the irony within all of this, is the very things we desire to be we innately are. It has been told through channeling is of mine and numerous others, it is even been included in the Bible itself, for those of the religious nature, that we are provided all that we need to sustain our purpose in this life. Yet it is important we believe it and are able to perceive it, in which to align with all that is given us.
As such I am suggesting a simple exercise for you to try, for every believe you feel that you are lacking in, I encourage you to look back on your life. To look back on the smallest to the greatest experiences you’ve had which may very easily resemble the very things you believe you are not. For example, for those who believe they do not have courage or self-confidence, are you able to get out of bed each day? Are you able to get dressed and go out there and face the world? Because beloveds, that act in itself, is already proof you have courage and self-confidence to get up, get dressed and face the day. Did you have the courage or strength to look for the jobs you’ve had in the past or currently hold? Did you have the courage or strength to go to school each day? Did you have the courage or self-confidence to talk to people making friends, lovers along the way? If you could answer yes to any of these, then beloveds… Here again shows you already have courage and self-confidence.
So, I strongly advise that you apply this simple tool, write them down… Don’t just verbalize it or reflect upon it in your mind alone. Rather, write them down to solidify within all parts of self how your perceptions have been false, thus rewriting that story and seeing the truth. Then every day for as often as needed, reflect on all the things you have done and accomplished until you are truly solidified in the knowledge of the abilities you neatly are and have within you.
Melissa Wasik
Solidify what we have learned!
As we go through our awakening, we begin to heal old wounds and patterns no longer serving. During such times we come into either small or big ah-ha moments of clarity. Yet what do we do with those ah-ha moments? What do we do with the new tools we have learned to aid us on our way of being our healthiest and innate selves?
Often times we just go about our business believing that having those moments of clarity are all that is needed, but chances are… you need to do more. It is now time to solidify those new patterns, thoughts and ways of being. Too often in my teachings I see where people truly “got” the lessons they needed; but if they didn’t solidify those experiences old patterns in behavior or thought eventually returned. Then we begin to question and doubt ourselves wondering why… where we going wrong?
We need to remember that when we first came here whether we choose to remember or not as children, we innately knew who we are and what we wanted for ourselves in this purpose of life. Yet over time the teachings and examples displayed from our parents and family members, friends, teachers and classmates, religious experiences, and society as a whole… All played a role in restructuring what we innately knew to be true or right for ourselves. Therefore, for most of us, there has been many years in the making in such conditionings, transitioning’s… aligning us with who we’ve become today as a result of such influences or experiences given. Therefore, it is only fair to give ourselves every opportunity in which to not only rediscover what really makes sense and works for our individual purpose, but will take time to nurture those seeds of such realizations. Therefore, take time to meditate on them, focus on the new tools and alignments given… Let that be our focal point moving forward; until such a time it becomes truly solidified within all parts of self and becomes a natural state of being.
Melissa Wasik
It’s time to be authentic.
We have been taught to conform and follow the crowd so we don’t rock the boat, be shunned or ridiculed for being true to who and what we are. We are often made to feel weary that it would be too much work to argue or do what is necessary to stand in our truths, so we cave in. Yet later we find we are depressed, anxious, unsettled…. etc. If we are not careful soon illness or dis-ease comes into play all because we were simply too afraid to be authentic. Others begin to mistrust us or not respect our boundaries or what we want for ourselves. If we are not careful soon illness or dis-ease comes into play all because we were simply too afraid to be authentic. Thus, creating the very things we wished to avoid and worse perhaps fallen ill over having done so.
It is time to ask yourself… is it worth masking who you are, depriving you of the purpose for which you came and others who are in need of those experiences? For as we remain authentic in all we do we plant a seed. This seed reminds others how freeing it is to be who they are meant to be and then in turn they live a freer and healthier… happier existence, which in turn plants seeds for others by their example.
If it were not for authenticity, look how stagnant we would be in creations made over the years or how much we would have missed that genuine smile or sense of humor of another had they not let their guard down and been true to their nature.
It’s your turn… what seed will you plant for yourself and others today?
Melissa Wasik
Love Truly IS The Answer.... ( A quote from my book)
"Love is the purest and highest vibration there is which originates from our Creator/Higher Power/Source and makes us who we are. As such, love is found in literally All There Is... the highs, the lows, the yin, the yang, all creations seen and unseen, heard and unheard, touched and untouched, known and unknown. For it is all necessary to bring us the balances and the fundamentals needed for our journey and growth. How can we appreciate the sun, if we don't have the rain? And in the Rain, see it too as blessed. How can we possibly know our strengths, the blessings we all are to this cherished world or the gifts we each uniquely provide if it were not for the challenges life brings to remind us? For it is such as these... the triumphs over the uncertainty and feared that we see love... that we truly see our Creator/Higher Power/Source, for that is our purpose here.
When we truly see our Creator/Higher Power/Source in All That Is and who we innately are, we see there is truly no fear... only love. Love is in the yes, love is in the no. All we need to do is see the love in All That Is which surrounds us knowing all is truly good and blessed. Thus, love will lift us out of darkness into the light ."

I woke up with a thought today I thought was so profound and wanted to share...
"Each day I am creating myself anew. Whether I am doing something to refine the inside or outer layers of my world, I am orchestrating something so beautiful and amazing! With each day I am given, I am consciously aware of these refinements which balances and sustains me for that of my greatest good. And with each of these steps I take, I choose to make them with love."

My prayer and mantra for us, for the day and always....
I pray that Father Creator/Source/Universe will make every day a day of discovery for us all. To give us the courage and innocence of a child to walk through in trust and wonder and enjoy these experiences. To explore them fully and be in gratitude for what they have to share.

Taking Pause...
We should all practice taking pause throughout our daily lives. For this is a powerful way to tap in and listen to our heart chakra, our body and even our emotions as they all can play key elements to making sound decisions in our lives with fewer regrets for choices made. Though believe it or not, there is no right or wrong in the choices we make... we still have many choices or roads we can take which will eventually lead us where we need to go. But it is all in how we play upon these experiences that can provide the fun, enjoyment and fond memories we wish to create for that of ourselves and others. We were taught to believe we have to act now or speak quickly if we wish to be heard or taken seriously... but that is where often times key elements are missed sending us reeling in the would have, could have and should haves. Live life more fully and in the moment. Let each moment count by simply taking pause and tapping in first. Namaste.

Taking Responsibility For The Roles We play...
We are all souls of love and light. We are all one not separate from one another. We all need try to do our best, yet as humans, when we are faced with fear and uncertainty... we all have our breaking points too. No one is ever perfect or will be. It is important to own our own lacks and fears in life we face and not take it out on one another.
It is time to stop blaming one another and take a close look at ourselves. For often what offends us in another is something that mirrors us in kind whether it be in thought, word or deed in how we see the world, each other or ourselves. Stop, look inward and listen. If there is changes to be made in the world... it needs to start inward out...not pointing fingers.
Lets all take our role in this responsibility. Lets educate our young to live in peace and how to settle our differences in self and in others peacefully... not in turmoil which has no hope of resolution but to only make things worse. Love is the answer. Patience and compassion is key.
Melissa Wasik
Forgiveness...
All people deserve "forgiveness". For at one time or another, consciously or unconsciously, we have hurt another. The most important thing we need to remember is we all have a role to play for ourselves and one another in this life. We may not always be in alignment with who we are when fear, doubts, lack, anger, sadness and other forms of thoughts, feelings or beliefs come to play with us. We don't always remember to stop and look at the importance of these life lessons, instead we act or react out of these emotions, thoughts or fears. It does not make us less of a person, but is here to teach us how to learn to be more loving, supportive, nurturing, patient, seeing the other person's point of view... the lists of reasons go on and on. Judge not another nor yourself but rather find love, gratitude and peace for these experiences. For they have become one of our greatest teachers. Namaste

Why Do We Choose To Live In Silence?
Why do we choose to live in silence? To live in fear? To not trust each other with our feelings, thoughts, visions, dreams…? Why are we so afraid to trust in who we are or show the wonderful qualities we all have to share? Why are we so afraid of being wrong or not understood?
We build up walls instead so no one else can see or let others in… but then we shut ourselves out from the world too. Unable to truly love, live and experience the wonders our Creator has designed ever so special for each and every one of us. A world that needs people just like you and me. A world that yearns for honesty, fairness, truth and play. A world that longs for people to be people… to be themselves and know they are safe for just being who they are… loved and appreciated for the gifts you have to share.
The time has come to open up our shut off hearts. To live and be just as we are designed to be and not be afraid nor ashamed. There are people waiting…hoping to catch a glimpse of such vulnerability; to be shown by such examples the ways to break free of the chains that they too believe binds them. To experience what we have to give to this world so they too may do the same. Do not deprive them nor yourselves the splendor that only you can give. It is time to tear down those walls and let yourselves be free to explore and express exactly who you desire to be so that others may follow their hearts and do the same in kind.

That Which Does Not Kill Us.....
Sometimes life makes us feel afraid causing us to want to harden when we need to soften up a bit and not be so tough in order to get through life. But there are times when having a harder external shell may be necessary... at first... until we have attained the skills we learn over time to be strong using the gifts Source's/Higher Power's love provided for us... as long as we can break away and peel that shell again later so we can still remain softer inside (For even the toughest of nuts can peel away the harder shell to reveal the goodness inside). We are all filled with the rich goodness life provides and we can do amazing things with it if we simply take the time to experiment and find out what they are and what we can do with them, as it can take on many forms and ways in which to work with them.
I see how the variances in who we are play important functions and opportunities in our life. Yet I see where it is always necessary to remain truly open and vulnerable in life. For if we shut down, building up walls and harden, then sadly we miss the riches life has to give us and people around us miss out on some of those amazing qualities that makes us just who we need to be for self or in giving others hope... inspiring or encourage by our examples.
This world is in need of the riches we each have to share. Don't shut them down or shut yourself off when things go "wrong" or become tough. For it just means we are learning how to remain true to ourselves no matter what life hands us.... how to believe in ourselves and create that solid foundation in which to build upon. So in this we are strong... yet we still can remain open...softer to all who need the true beauty that is you.

What Matters Most...
"It should not matter the kind of clothes we wear, the cars we drive, the homes we live in, the stature of our titles or monetary successes.... it should not matter if we are black or white, red or yellow or even green. It should not matter what cultures we were raised in or the religions we choose to follow....
What matters is that we are souls first. Our souls innately love and heal. It's time to honor and remember who we REALLY are and where we truly came from. It is time to heal ourselves, this world, this environment. To be one as Source/Higher Power is one with all things... so are we. We are never separate from one another as we too are created from the Image and likeness of Father Creator/Source. Therefore, we ARE "God consciousness"... Father Creator/Source/Higher Power does not hate nor discriminate... so neither should we. For we are all equal... we are all needed... We are all loved."
Melissa Wasik
Happiness.....
"Happiness should be in each moment we live by living in the now, not for tomorrow or yesterday but by living for the day. Following our passions and what makes us truly happy is how we are meant to live our lives and is where life is, as life is not around us but rather within each of us. Life is not about looking to other people, places or things to make it happen for us. We are our own powerful creators. Find what inspires us then create them... making them our reality."

Life lessons....
They come up upon you when you least expect them. You never really know who will cross your path to help you to learn more about yourself and the life experiences you were meant to walk through. They teach you to trust your inner connections with self and Source. They show you how to have patience, trust, compassion for self and others. They teach us to walk taller and with less fear than before. They help to tear down walls and those layers of the onion we need to peel away for ourselves... releasing old thought patterns, beliefs, feelings of self, others and the world around us.
It was not long ago one of my biggest lessons was taught to me. I wanted to run in fear, but they forced me to stay and look closer at what unfolded. I could then see the Divinity in our life's lessons and how to show gratitude and thanks to those who help to bring those experiences into our awareness.
Instead of blaming others for the experiences they bring you or running in fear of what surrounds you... by shutting down, putting up walls or defenses. Take pause. Breathe. Allow yourself to sit in what is currently happening with you. Breathe out the fears, self doubts and negative talk in our minds replacing them instead with peace... serenity. For in this the most profound answers can be found and a confidence is rebuilt and renewed... strengthened. We all have fires to walk through and layers of self to unveil. Do so with integrity and light for self and as you do, you become that empowering example for others.
