Hello and Good Day Everyone!
 
Happiest New Year! I am still off grid while much continues to go on with my family and again, I sincerely thank you all for your support and understanding.
 
Being completely above board and transparent….
 
As many of you I have been on and off grid with my business due to family's emergencies which began two years ago when my step-farther had suddenly become quite ill, having almost lost his life 3 times during the course of his illness and our time with him in attendance of his care.  As a result, I took an extended stay involving the courts and the Canadian Government’s cooperation (To whom I still owe a debt of gratitude, as Covid was in its early stages at this time and both borders were closed) to permit me to stay for over a year and a half in Canada where my folks resided at that time, to help assist my family. This took a great deal of funding and time away from my home and business.
 
What most of you did not know… with the exception of close family and a few of our friends, is more sadness hit my family as we learned from several of my stepfather’s specialists who were working with him, that his illness was not going to clear up on its own or until they could learn the absolute cause to his illness that alluded many in the medical field. All they knew is he had suffered with Encephalitis which is inflammation on the brain.  This is usually caused by either cancer (Which numerous tests were conducted and came up with negative results for cancer... thankfully), or it would be either bacterial or viral. The specialist had to be brought in to conduct special testing as all the numerous other tests given came back inconclusive. Sadly, even those specialty tests were unable to offer any clarity to either of the possibilities remaining. 

Meanwhile, my stepfather's health continued to decline as his autoimmune system began attacking itself, so his body could no longer fight off any infections (Which was caused by the Encephalitis). At one point he had 8 infections in his body at one time (Some potentially highly contagious to others around him and had been held in a specialized unit of the hospital during his stay). Because of all he endured, it left him bedridden for many months at a time, which in turn, he lost most of his muscle mass and needed to go to a special rehab facility for a few weeks to regain strength so he could be deemed safe to live at home, yet he continued to get weaker and his muscle tone was not returning as we all hoped. As a result, and because of his conditions he would require care of his family on a 24-hour basis or he would require special medical placement.
 
Over that course of time, all came to a head with my mom, as due to her own health issues, was no longer able to care for him as her health had become impacted with all that took place. I nor my family couldn’t afford the great cost for me to become a permanent resident to assist my mom in his care and because of her inability to care for him on her own, very difficult and hard choices had to be made. It resulted in my stepfather stating in an email to my mom while being admitted once more to the hospital, that it would be best my mom move back stateside to be with her family now as she and I are the only members left of our family unit and take care of her health and needs… resulting the sale of their home and moving my mom back to the states, while he find placement in one of the medical facilities mentioned closer to his family in Quebec. 
 
Sadly, due to so much that took place between my mom and her husband’s health, their legal separation required for personal legal and financial purposes had been postponed and drawn out for so long it remains ongoing as court costs for both continue to build, exhausting our finances and other means to keep things together for my family until such a time the decree through the courts of Canada have been satisfied and their separation has become finalized. As such, I have moved back in to help my mom during these difficult times faced… which turned out to be another blessing in disguise.
 
In the last post I shared with you; my mom is facing more challenges with her health which required testing of her heart. Unfortunately, we were both hit with the flu which took us both out of commission for some time, which resulted in my mom’s much needed tests being postponed. Thankfully, we are now in a better position to move forward and we were able to get the testing she needed. While we are immensely relieved to learn her heart has suffered very minimal complications there are some minor concerns now requiring more testing to take place to learn how to properly move forward in treatment and to what end this anomaly, they have come upon has taken place. Her doctors and cardiologist are considering she either suffered a milder heart attack some time back over the past couple of years due to the stress she was placed under with all that occurred or that it is something that has remained with her most of her life, as there is a family history of heart-related issues. Meanwhile, my mom still has difficulty maintaining energy of which to perform even the simplest tasks for herself or around the home, and is dealing with feeling dizzy and unstable on her feet at times. Her recent health issues have been in existence and ongoing for over two months.
 
As a result, every time I have made attempts to get back to my calling of helping others or the continuation of writing my books, I am being called away to assist my family during these very difficult and challenging times they face.
 
I just want to most sincerely thank everyone for your support, love, prayers, and understanding. We wish to thank my clients for their patience and understanding as rescheduling, postponements or even reassignments to other holistic practitioners were found necessary and had to be made throughout this ordeal.
 
I wanted to come forward as so many have been asking what is going on or when or if I even intend to return to my life’s work. The answer is yes, I lovingly and fully intend to come back to help others any way I can, yet need a bit more time to help with family matters. I wished I could have been more open before about all of this, but since most of this involves my family and due to its sensitive natures and highly charged, mixed emotions… I did not feel right nor of my place in posting some of this sooner.
