For many generations, our moon has always played a mystical role. Over the years...Scientists, Astrologists, Prophesiers, Soothsayer and the like often reflect on the moon cycles to explain the unexplainable or to help us further understand its purposes for being and our alignment with them.
Many can attest human and/or animal emotions or behaviors and the patterns of the earth are all being affected by the moon’s cycles. Many farmers also rely on the moon’s patterns to help them with the growth of their crops.
Yet what do each of the moon’s cycles mean for us?
I have learned by way of Archangel Haniel the following….
The Four Primary Cycles:
1.) New Moon: The New Moon means new beginnings. What is hidden in the shadows is to be revealed and dealt with. It means that if there are any new tools we learn, or abilities gained that this is the time they are revealed to us. For many it also signifies the time of one’s awakenings.
For most woman, their cycle may be clocked by the new moon as ovulation and conception decreases thus allowing for the woman to start their menstrual bleeding during the course of the new moon. If a woman should be unbalanced within the self mentally, emotionally or physically due to trauma or parts of themselves or their past not dealt with, they may often their biological clocks will reflect as such and have irregular monthly cycles, often followed with intense cramping and excessive bleeding or other abnormalities during this particular time.
The New Moon means preparing for rebirth or birth of the new… cleansing away what no longer serves the highest good.
It is also a time for which the New Moon controls the motions of all bodies of water and its flow (thus tying in with a woman’s cycle or bodily fluids). It is during these times that the currents of the waters become more intense or active.
2.) Full Moon: The Full Moon is when all is brought to light to see what yet needs to be healed or dealt with. To see the new that has yet to be brought into full alignment with the self.
It is also during this time that conception or ovulation are at a higher probability. It has been found that such can be conceived a day before or after the Full Moon has taken effect.
Waxing and Waning:
During the Cycles of the Waxing (Otherwise corresponding with the Flow of all things. Meaning the High Tide or at its peak of fruition): Is the time to run with the new changes in directions. To test the waters of the new, to see what works in alignment for your path and purpose.
During the Cycle of the Waning (Otherwise corresponding with the Ebbs of all things. Meaning the receding of the water… the low tide): Is the down time. A time to relax, reflect and see what no longer serves. A time to prepare of letting go. To recharge for the new that is to come. It is during the time of Waning that schooling, or periods of learning hit its highest peak.
The two Gibbous cycles are the perfect time to make any big changes to realign and be open to the flows of self and the energies which surround you by way of the full moon.
3.) The Waxing Gibbous is a great time to thrust forward with any big plans and ride the waves of good fortune during this auspicious time.
It is also during this time most find their peaks in creativity and productivity. They are more enthusiastic, inspired and overall, in a jovial mood. It is also during this time that sexual peaks hit an all-time high.
4.) The Waning Gibbous is a great time to take advantage of reflecting, reversing, or letting go of what no longer serves you. Make full use of this beautiful energy to help heal and comfort you as such necessary adjustments are made.
This is again a great time to learn and develop one’s skills as we are more prone to slow down and digest what we have learned or are given, as we are more open-minded, vulnerable and receptive during these times due to the flux of the Full Moon and its aligning effects with that of the Gibbous energies collectively working together with great harmony and power.
The Remaining Four Cycles:
1.) The Quarter Moons of the Waxing and Waning marks the midway points of the transitional phase.
2.) The two Crescent Cycles may seem meaningless to most, but they too serve a purpose.
The Waxing Crescent: Allows for the flow or intro from the New Moon to take hold after making its appearance. It is those sneaky moments where things seem to creep in under the wire to give us new perspectives adding to the larger whole still to come. They add in the necessary contrast needed to weigh the pros and cons of our decisions.
The Waning Crescent: is where we identify the full cycle is completing its end. This is where the last fine tuning takes place to prepare us for the new to enter in once more with the new moon to come and to once and for all leave behind what no longer serves us in that cycle period or in the remaining course of our journey.
Essentially when we bring it all together, it looks like this…
With the New Moon, it sets the cycle in motion with new beginnings… it is a time of cleansing or rebirth…to learn and discover what there is to know about ourselves and our connections with the world around us. If there is any new tools or new or more preferably, rediscovered abilities… these are the times they become revealed and discovered or shall we say rediscovered. This is a great time of releasing what no longer serves to come into alignment with self…feeling uplifted, refreshed, reborn again.
So, as we enter the Waxing Crescent (Waxing: Which corresponds to the flow of all things… otherwise known as the high tides or high moments in our lives), it allows for the flow or intro from the New Moon to take hold after making its appearance. It is those sneaky moments where things seem to creep in under the wire to give us new perspectives adding to the larger whole still to come. They add in the necessary contrast needed to weigh the pros and cons of our decisions. Then apply these decisions and new perspectives... test them out, working out the kinks and learn how you can make them work for you in your own special way.
When we hit the First Quarter Moon marks the midway point of the first half our cycle’s journey. This is a time to do a quick reflection on our efforts and new perspectives thus far… What do we still need to implement? What needs more nourishing or tweaking in our discoveries and tools given? This moment in time prepares us for the transitioning of the Waxing Gibbous (Waxing: Which corresponds to the flow of all things… otherwise known as the high tides or high moments in our lives.) It is a time to run with these discoveries, awakenings, and tools to guide us through our journeys in life and learn how to apply them in our daily lives, again doing any necessary tweaking to work with what feels right and in alignment with our life’s goals and experiences. This is also an auspicious time to thrust forward with any big plans and ride the waves of good fortune. You may often hit your peaks in creativity and productivity, as most will find they are more enthusiastic, inspired and overall, in a jovial mood.
When we approach the Full Moon, all is brought to light to see what yet needs to be healed or dealt with. To see the new that has yet to be brought into full alignment with the self; marking one of the most sensitive times during the various phases of the moon, as it is by design meant to help us realign with who we are and purge and release the hurts, guilt or feelings of shame of self or of others. We are often faced with our pasts… by ways of triggers or remembrances that haunts us. This is a time of introduction and preparation of learning what those experiences gave us. Why did we have them in the first place? What great purpose did it serve? During this time, be gentle with self and with others, for all is for the highest good. Once we are able to see our way clear to the gratitude’s these experiences gives us... we are then truly set free to pursue other greater experiences in life. This time also may reveal to us more of our true selves and purpose at a pace that we are ready or open to accepting them.
When we reach the Waning Gibbous (Corresponding with the Ebbs of all things. Meaning the receding of the water… the low tide), where sensitivity and emotional phases are again experienced within the moon’s cycles. It is a great time to take advantage of reflecting, reversing, or letting go of what no longer serves you. In other words, once we discover our triggers and experiences of our past which needs to be healed or let go during the stages of the Full Moon, allows the phase of the Waning Gibbous, the best time to reveal the hidden truths as to why all this took place. To make peace and heal you from these experiences given. Through many of these very same re-visitations of experiences, allows you to also see what no longer serves you from the highest points of view; as you now realize a greater potential within the self. Thus, finding better ways in which to resolve issues or conflicts or perhaps a rewiring of our ways of thinking marking a turning point in who and what you desire of yourself and of your life’s experiences. Make full use of this beautiful energy to help comfort and sooth you as such necessary adjustments are made.
This is again a great time to dig deeper and learn or develop one’s skills or abilities as we are more prone to slow down and digest what we have learned or discovered; as we are more open-minded, most vulnerable and receptive during these times due to the flux of the Full Moon and its aligning effects with that of the Gibbous energies collectively working together with great harmony and power.
During the Last Quarter, marks the midway point of the last half our moon cycle’s journey. This is a time once again to do a quick reflection on our healing and letting go efforts thus far… what do we still need to implement? What needs more nurturing or healing with our discoveries found and how can we apply the tools given to assist us in these areas and times of need? This moment in time then prepares us for the transitioning of the Waning Crescent (Waning: Corresponding with the Ebbs of all things. Meaning the receding of the water… the low tide), where we identify the full cycle is completing its end and winding down. This is the down time. A time to relax, reflect and see what no longer serves. A time to prepare of letting go. To recharge for the new that is to come. This is where the last fine tuning takes place in all aspects of the cycle, we have journeyed thus far…to prepare us for the new to enter in once more with the New Moon to come and to once and for all leave behind what no longer serves us in that cycle period or in the remaining course of our journey.
