Hello Beloveds,
I am taking myself offline for a while to tend to my family who is in great need of my care at this time and look forward to working with all of you again when I am able to do so.

In the meantime, I have seen a need to focus on the positives and silver linings as that is what keeps us balanced, at peace and empowered through the difficult times we face.

On my Facebook page  https://www.facebook.com/melissa.wasik.1  I posted a challenge for each of us to find at least 10 good things that can come out of this virus outbreak which has challenged us and for some of us, has kept us in lock-down unable to leave our homes.
I am encouraging all of you to pick up this gauntlet and share this with others. May this help you to find a more peaceful stance and encourage others you know or those who follow your postings to do the same and share their positive experiences with others.
                                                                                                   Blessings to you all, Always.

Below are my examples and listings of what I have learned and am grateful for as a result since this outbreak occurred....

1.) Improving and building of faith- This has truly solidified the importance of having faith in Source/Father Creator, Self and others that we can and will persevere.

2.) Taking stock and feeling gratitude-really appreciating all we have around us and within ourselves.

3.) Having precious time to our advantage- Time to fulfill projects or personal fun activities or interests we have always desired to do... if only we had the time to do them.

4.) Realize all the things, people or experiences we've taken for granted- How many times in life where people, experiences or things are taken from us leaving us to really appreciate them when they were here? I'm going to fully appreciate those who stepped up to the plate to help us during these difficult times, the good health I'm given, stores stocked with food and necessities, freedoms to come and go as we please and being able to enjoy outings or times spent in person with family, friends and meeting new acquaintances without fears of getting contaminated.

5.) Truly enjoy and appreciate the great outdoors- So many of us take for granted being outside and with nature. Did you know that it is scientifically and medically proven that nature is a natural antidepressant? Plus being outdoors is chalked full fo health benefits like the sun, which provides vitamin D.

6.) A chance to check in with self- All too often we are "too busy" with work, taking care of our families/children and a multitude of other responsibilities. Thus, our needs, feelings, innate intuitions and thoughts go unnoticed which continues to either gently tap us on the shoulder or begins to scream begging for our attention. This now gives us the much needed time to stop, pay attention, listen, then act on caring for self so when it becomes time once again to get back to living fully and at large again, we are far healthier, peaceful and rejuvenated to begin on a much better and more positive footing.

7.) Appreciating the respect for others- We should all pull together more and not just when all is going our way! So many times we read or hear of people when panicked or desperate they begin to fight and become cruel, cold even greedy and only focus on themselves. This is a beautiful lesson to us all the importance of compassion, endurance and strength in togetherness and in peace. Now is the time to either learn or teach others by example so when another experience should ever enter into our lives to "test" us, we will all pass with flying colors as love prevails instead of greed, fear, and ill-hearted selfishness.

8.) Time to Prioritize- This experience helps us to take stock and re-evaluate what REALLY matters in life. Where true successes, love, passions, and happiness lies within us then decided what steps or directions, focus and we need to get us there then follow through.

9.) Catch up on playtime- So often we become entangled in our daily lives and become so focused and serious we forget the balance of fun, relaxation, and play. No matter if we are the age of three or 107, there is no age limit nor excuse not to play and enjoy life! Especially during times such as these, the need to relax and play becomes more relevant to keep up morale and peace within our lives, thus, keeping the balance.

10.) Developing patience- Good things come to those who wait. No matter how often I teach the importance of patience with life experiences, I too continue to develop my need for patience with things we cannot control. This experience can truly be the ultimate test in patience and surrendering control. As such I am able to apply those tools developed moving forward in all other experiences which awaits.

11.) Teaching me more of how to see the positives- In every darkness, there is light and a silver lining. The more we learn how to see the light amidst the darkness surrounding us in any given situation, the more empowered and powerful we are to take on and handle any future experiences life sends our way.
